Response Action Training

Terms & Conditions

Effective September 25, 2026

Acceptance

By using the RAT website, purchasing access or submitting a training request, you agree to these terms and the posted privacy, refund and training policies.

Eligibility and accounts

You must provide accurate information and protect your account access. Participants under 18 require parent or legal-guardian approval. Additional age, identification and legal-eligibility rules may apply to instructor-led firearm courses.

Scheduling and payment

A scheduling request holds a date for review but is not an approved class. A class is confirmed only after RAT provides written approval and required payment is completed. RAT may decline or modify requests because of safety, instructor, venue, travel or equipment requirements.

Course access

Course materials are licensed to the enrolled participant for personal learning. They may not be copied, recorded, shared, resold, publicly displayed or used to train others without written permission.

Certificates

Certificates and online learning records are issued only when stated requirements are met. RAT may correct or revoke a record obtained through error, misrepresentation, unauthorized access or academic misconduct.

Acceptable use

Do not attempt to bypass access controls, interfere with the site, upload harmful material, impersonate another person or use RAT services unlawfully.

Availability and limitation

RAT may update course content, schedules and site functions. To the extent permitted by law, RAT is not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from website interruption or misuse of training content.

Governing rules

These terms are governed by applicable United States law and the law applicable where RAT provides the service, without overriding rights that cannot legally be waived.

Questions or requests may be submitted through the contact or scheduling form on the RAT website.
